The conference program covered several current topics, from agricultural land, communal affairs, public involvement to a green future and project financing. As an example of good practice, Dražen Keresteny from Alarm automatika presented the recently completed CEKOM project implemented in the city of Rijeka with the aim of solving challenges such as traffic, environment, communal infrastructure and security.
Particularly attractive was the introductory panel discussion on 30 years of local self-government in the Republic of Croatia, in which the Minister of Finance, Marko Primorac, Minister of Justice and Administration, Ivan Malenica, Deputy Prefect of Istria Tulio Demetlika, Dean of the Faculty of Law of the University of Zagreb, Ph.D. prof. Ivan Koprić, the long-time mayor of Rijeka, Vojko Obersnel and the president of the Association, Željko Turk.
