Almost 200 participants attended at the conference Fire alarm and protection organised by the magazine Zaštita on September 20. Topics of the conference were dedicated to the regulations governing fire protection, for example changes in the Fire Protection act and the implementation of the Firefighter act, as well as technical solutions for reliable fire detection.
Vedran Mihaljević, head of the project support department in Alarm Automatika, held a lecture titled Technical solutions in the function of faster fire intervention, in which he talked how to equip a fire alarm center, ensuring access to the key cabinet of the facility, displays for presenting the alarm status of fire alarm detectors, and the importance of fire alarms microphones for directing evacuation from fire-affected spaces.
