The fact that a total of 670 people followed it speaks best of the topicality of the topic Designing of the protection systems in hotels . Seminars were held in the last two months in Zagreb, Split, Osijek, Rijeka and through the online platform zoom. In addition to the designers from Croatia, he was accompanied by about fifty colleagues from the countries of the former Yugoslavia, where Alarm automatika developed project business.
The seminar covered part of the complex issue of designing protection in hotels – from mandatory safety systems, through security solutions used to improve hotel business, to energy management solutions. The issue was discussed from several aspects – from legal regulations, through design, implementation and maintenance to the use of implemented systems. Among the difficulties faced by designers, one should point out the vagueness and obsolescence of some regulations, especially those in the field of fire protection, which do not define the design and implementation frameworks of, for example, solar power plants or electric car charging stations.
