For more than six decades in Rijeka, young people have been educated to work in technical professions. Today, Technical university in Rijeka have 11 institutes, each focused on different aspects of technical and engineering sciences. The 63rd anniversary of the Technical Faculty in Rijeka was celebrated at a solemnly session of the Faculty Council which was attended by many distinguished guests. They talked about the past work and development plans of the faculty, specially about importance of opening new interdisciplinary studies structured according to modern western universities and possibility of studying on English language.
On that occasion, one-time scholarships were assigned to the best students, and one of them was financed by Alarm automatika. The scholarship was delivered to Deni Erik, an electrical engineering undergraduate student, by our colleague Jošua Lerga, also a former student of this faculty.
Alarm automatika has been accepting students of the Technical Faculty for professional internship for a long time, enabling them to carry out laboratory exercises in the company’s premises and engaging them in development projects. Such cooperation is an important factor in solving modern technological challenges, raising the company’s competitiveness and recruiting prospective students.
